During a ceremony at the Marriott World Center Orlando, on April 9th, 2014, the International Association of Facilitators announced the winners of their annual Facilitation Impact Awards.
Among the winners was Glenn Hughes, Senior Director of Global Learning for KLA-Tencor Corporation. Glenn shared three awards with his colleagues at KLA-Tencor – Keith Bartholomew, Mike Gilbert, Carol Hastings-Jones, and Ken Wells.
In the past two years, KLA-Tencor has recieved eight awards. Glenn has been the facilitator or co-facilitator for five of those awards.
Upon hearing of the award, Glenn Hughes said, “This award is significant to all of us, because it’s based on objective criteria that challenge facilitators to provide tangible, non-tangible, innovative, and ethical service to their clients. We use the judging process as a benchmark each year, to assure that we’re offering our clients world-class facilitation.”
The IAF Facilitation Impact Awards are the most prestigious international awards honoring excellence in facilitation and its positive, measurable impact on businesses, governments and not-for-profit organizations around the world.
